General Rules:

In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums. If you have any questions or problems, please contact one of The Administration Team members.

Please note that The Administration Team of the forums are in no way in charge of the CNY Jeep Club--they simply administer the forums. Our goal is to keep a fun, clean, family-friendly environment, and these rules help ensure that people of all ages and backgrounds will enjoy this board. has very specific content geared forums, members are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting to ensure they are posting in the correct forum. This rule is very forgiving, but users who repeatedly post in the wrong forum despite corrections from a staff member may be given a warning.

Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "Help me!", "I am stuck!" etc. Examples of good titles such as "Rausch Creek on March 28 & 29", "Front Axle U-joint replacement", etc. are okay. is geared toward a general audience and therefore posts that are sexual in nature, posts that contain pornographic content, or generally offensive posts containing inappropriate text, images, or links will not be tolerated and will lead to an immediate warning. If a username is found to be offensive, it will be immediately changed and the user PMed a request to choose another, more appropriate username.

Members are not to post obscene, vulgar, racist, offensive, or illegal posts, links, or images. Posts containing such content will be removed and could lead to a warning or a ban if necessary.

No member shall create, post, or link to any posting or thread refering to or making mention of any unauthorized or illegal trail locations or activity at such locations. Examples of these types of areas are Highland Forset, Morgan Hill, the 481 ponds and surrounding area, the area around OCC, Split Rock and Jamesville quarries, Rt370 or Rt31 trails as well as any and all power or gas lines. This is not an inclusive list. If you do not have permission to wheel on a particular property, do not post about it here. If the property is POSTED and you are engaged in ILLEGAL activity not only should you not post about it here, you should find another club to associate with, as that type of behavior is neither accepted nor condoned and will not be tolerated. All non-organized, but legal, trail locations or activity will be discussed via PMs only.

Members are not to harass or abuse other members in topics, private messages, signatures, avatars or profiles. Such behaviour will lead to a warning or a ban.

Members are not to violate the privacy of other members by publicly posting identifiable personal information about them; e.g. full names, addresses, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers. This includes reposting the contents of private messages or e-mails without the prior permission of the sender.

All rules apply to the private messaging system as well. Abuse of the Private Messaging system will result in a Warning.

While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently reserves the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

All rules stated here apply to the entire site, including but not limited to trackers, tickets, blog posts and comments.


Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation etc. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. Promoting your own site or forum is not encouraged on, this includes self promotion, advertising and advertising related posts, notices for contests and show-off posts and topics.

Signature Specific Rules

Signatures may NOT contain any of the following: Obscene, Racist, Sexually Explicit, Graphic, Offensive, Illegal or anything deemed NOT family friendly. Offensive content will be removed and the user PMed or warned as necessary. Signature content may be removed and/or signature permissions revoked if a user dismisses requests by staff to change or remove content.

Avatar Specific Rules

User defined avatars may contain mild animation, but must not be flashy or attract attention with the animation.

Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency. Avatars may NOT contain any of the following: Obscene, Racist, Sexually Explicit, Graphic, Offensive, Illegal or anything deemed Not family friendly. Offensive Avatars will be removed and the user PMed or warned as necessary. Avatars may be removed and/or avatar permissions revoked if a user dismisses requests by staff to change or remove content.


The The Administration Team reserves the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to The Administration Team and not users. also reserves the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.
